St Patricks Day Dinner
Less than one week away is our Home Oregon Coast team sponsored fundraiser to support the Taft High School kids Culinary Program. There are lots of new faces in this years program and I can't wait to see their faces drop when they see the amount of food they are preparing for the dinner. They will have a lot of work to do in the next few days. This will be the kids largest event so far this year so the more local support we can gather the better. We are planning for 100 people so please help us assure that no food will go to waste.
Dinner, starting at 5, will be an Irish themed Corned beef and cabbage, creamy green beans and parsley, stew, and a special desert. All of this and a beverage for $15. All proceeds will go directly towards the culinary team. The High school art program will also be doing something awesome and hopes to raise some funds as well. If you are feeling extra generous and would like to leave more for the kids you may do so. The event is for all ages so bring the family.
The event will be held at the Eagles Lodge in Lincoln City. Also joining the party will be the June Rushing Band who will be playing and hopefully getting some people out to dance. They have been a locally favorite band for years and we are so excited they are playing on St. Patricks Day. The always fun Eagles bartenders will be mixing up drinks and pouring whatever you may need. Please come and join us for the fun. Don't forget to wear green.
